‘ Current & Future Exhibitions ..’

The Bulkeley Gallery offers free admission to temporary exhibitions by local artists, providing visitors with a small insight into the abundance of artistic talent throughout North Wales. The changing programme offers a variety of exhibitions with original art work and photographic prints available for sale, and on occasion, an opportunity to meet the artist behind the artwork.

Conwy, North Wales has been my home for the best part of forty years and I couldn’t think of living anywhere else. When my children were enjoying University life, I decided to return to study and completed a Degree in Fine Art at Glyndwr University.
Since Graduating in 2009 I have been involved with various Community Art Projects and more recently Health & Wellbeing Groups. I still run a small friendly art group every Friday in Old Colwyn called Cadwgan Soup where we eat Soup, make art and chatter.

As a collage artist, I am captivated by the interplay of layers, colours and textures; where every piece of paper, fragment of book, or found object contributes to a larger narrative of colour and form. My process is intuitive and exploratory. The act of cutting, layering, and assembling allows me to transform the ordinary revealing beauty in the mundane. Colour is my primary language. It speaks to me in ways that words cannot, evoking emotions and memories that are personal yet relatable. Through my collages, I aim to create experiences that invite viewers to see the world differently. In a world often dominated by monotony and sadness, my work is intended to show the joy and happiness that colour can bring.
