Celebrate beneath the historic architecture of The Bulkeley Hotel with festive food, drinks and seasonal events for everything from intimate dinners to larger celebrations. Built in 1832 and standing directly opposite the beach and pier, our Grade I listed Georgian hotel comes into its own at this time of year, with log fires, twinkling lights and views across the Menai Strait, and the shops, castle and seafront of Beaumaris just a few steps from the door. From 1 December our festive menu is served for lunch and dinner throughout the hotel, the ballroom hosts our Christmas Ball and New Year's Eve celebrations, and our three-night Christmas escape takes care of everything from Christmas Eve to the morning of 27 December. And with 43 rooms upstairs, it's easy to make a night of it and wake up by the sea.
Christmas Day at The Bulkeley
Christmas lunch in Hansom's, our Georgian dining room looking out across the Menai Strait. Three courses of Welsh produce — roast Pembrokeshire turkey with pigs in blanket and all the trimmings, braised duck leg, pan-roast monkfish or a beetroot wellington — finishing with Christmas pudding and brandy sauce. A separate children's menu is available for under 12s.

Our festive menus are served throughout the hotel from 1 December, with the Christmas Day menus served on 25 December itself. We'll happily talk through dietary requirements when you book.
