Few Welsh food brands are as loved as the Snowdonia Cheese Company. This family business was founded in 2001 in Rhyl, North Wales, by the sons of dairy farmers. Their colourful waxed truckles are now famous across the world.
Their flagship cheese is the Black Bomber. It’s an extra mature cheddar with a rich, creamy depth of flavour. It has helped the company win “Best British Cheese Brand” several times, along with a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in 2021.

Mario’s Ice Cream

Mario Dallavalle is a third-generation ice cream maker. He blends his family’s Italian heritage with fresh milk from local Welsh dairy farms. The result is a luxury dairy ice cream that has won national awards, including gold at the National Ice Cream Competition and multiple Great Taste awards.
The best place to try it? Our Coffee Lounge. It serves coffee, cake and ice cream all day, just steps from the Beaumaris seafront. After a walk along the pier, there are few better places to eat in Beaumaris than a window seat with a scoop of Mario’s.
Welsh Pride Butchers
Great cooking needs great meat. Ours comes from Welsh Pride Butchers, who supply our kitchens with quality Welsh produce.
