Terms and Conditions

1. Price

All published rates include VAT @ the current rate (20%).

2. Availability

All published rates are subject to availability & at the discretion of The Bulkeley Hotel Ltd Management Team

3. Arrival and Departure

Bedrooms are usually available from 3pm local time on the day of arrival. Check out is by 11am local time on the day of departure. Early arrivals & late check-outs may be arranged at a charge determined by The Bulkeley Hotel Management Team. Late check outs are available from £10 Per Hour up or until 1:00pm local time.

4. Cancellations and Non Arrivals

(i) Easy Cancellations - Can be cancelled up to 24 hours before 3pm on the date of arrival without charge. If cancelled within 24 hours of 3pm on the date of arrival the customer / client will be liable for the first nights rate of accommodation, which The Bulkeley Hotel Ltd reserve the right to charge from the card given at the time of booking without the prior notice of approval of the customer / client.

(ii) Advanced Purchase (Non Refundable) - The total price of the reservation will be charged on the day of booking. If cancelled or modified, the total price of the reservation will be charged. In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

(iii) Non Arrival (No Show) - In case of Non Arrival The Customer / Client will be liable for the first nights rate of accommodation, which The Bulkeley Hotel Ltd reserve the right to charge from the card given at the time of booking without the prior notice or approval of the customer / client and the booking will be cancelled due to a Non Arrival.

(iv) For group bookings of 10 or more rooms, individual policies and cancellations will be provided to the client with written confirmation and contract terms

5. Payment

Settlement of the bill in full must be made prior to departure. Upon arrival The Bulkeley Hotel reserve the right to pre-authorise a credit or debit card from the client for the amount of the total booking.

Credit will not be issued apart from with formal arrangement with The Bulkeley Hotel Ltd & may be withdrawn without notice at any time.

6. Smoking & E-Cigarettes

The Bulkeley Hotel is committed to providing our guests and associates with a smoke-free environment this includes the use of electronic cigarettes in all public areas and bedrooms of the hotel.

7. Pets

(i) Pets are allowed in most public areas of the hotel excluding Hansom's Restaurant and The Bulkeley Bistro.

(ii) Pets are allowed in the following room types - POD, Cozy, Comfortable, Inland Classic and Club Rooms.

(iii) Pets not mentioned at time of booking may result in booking not being accepted on arrival.

8. General Conduct

The Bulkeley Hotel Ltd reserves the right to judge acceptable behaviour & levels of noise of all clients, who must comply with requests from The Bulkeley Hotel Management Team. The Bulkeley Hotel Ltd reserve the right to terminate any booking immediately where the client refuses to comply with management requests, without accepting any liability for any refund or compensation.

9. External Purchases

No food, drink or alcohol of any kind may be brought on to the grounds or premises without express prior permission from The Bulkeley Hotel Management Team. The Bulkeley Hotel reserves the right to charge for any external produce found on the premises.

10. Comments & Complaints

Any comment or complaint regarding the stay at The Bulkeley Hotel should be made to the management at the time of visit so that the matter can be resolved immediately.

11. Liability

The Bulkeley Hotel Ltd accept no responsibility whatsoever for damage to or theft from or of clients vehicles parked on the premises. The Bulkeley Hotel Ltd reserves the right to charge the client the cost of rectifying any damage caused to The Bulkeley Hotel property or structure. Should this damage not be apparent until after the client has departed The Bulkeley Hotel reserve the right to charge the clients credit or debit card without prior notice or send an invoice to the registered address. The Bulkeley Hotel Ltd accepts no liability for any services provided to the client by a third party including in the instance when the services provided have been arranged by The Bulkeley Hotel.

12. Weddings,Conferences & Other Functions

(i) Weddings - Individual policies and cancellations will be provided to the client with written confirmation and contract terms.

(ii) Conferences - Individual policies and cancellations will be provided to the client with written confirmation and contract terms.

(iii) Other Functions- Individual policies and cancellations will be provided to the client with written confirmation and contract terms.
